Tuscany is famous for its incredible cucina povera – simple, hearty, flavourful dishes perfect for this time of year.

Tonight we will enjoy some classic dishes like stracotto al Chianti (beef braised in Chianti wine) and panzanella salad, and some lesser know ones like gnudi and calamari in zimino.


Antipasti

Cremini mushroom carpaccio with arugula and shaved pecorino
Cannellini beans with rosemary and olive oil

Panzanella salad with grilled bread
Calamari in Zimino (calamari with swiss chard and tomatoes)

Primi

Risotto ai Carciofi (artichokes risotto)
Gnudi (ricotta and spinach dumpling) with butter, parmigiano, fried sage

Stracotto al Chianti (beef braised in Chianti wine)
