Without a doubt, Sardegna ("Sardinia" in English) is one of the most beautiful and unique regions of Italy. And since it's an island and also little far from the mainland, Sardegna's culture and food are a little different than the rest of Italy.

Here is another traditional event that I love to host: my fifth annual "Buon Natale" Christmas in Italy Supper Club. I always feature some of my family's favourite holiday dishes and dedicate the evening to my mom, because she's back in Italy and I rarely get to see her at Christmas. This gives me a good reason to think about her - grazie Mamma!
This is for sure one of my most popular supper clubs, a great way to welcome the Fall by celebrating one of the finest Italian regions. Piedmont is where the best white truffles in the world are found and November is when they are in season.

It has been a while since I haven't cooked the region of Lazio. Many of you probably don't know Lazio but you would know the capital city, "Rome", one of the most beautiful and history rich city in the world. I go often in Rome with famiy or friends just to eat at their osteria, the typical roman restaurant, where you can find some of the best comfort homecooking of Italy, it's not the lightest but it's so good! For this region I will be cooking some Roman's favorite dishes and I personally can't wait to eat them.....hoops cook them I meant. Click on the pic for the menu.
Since the first event with my Mamma sold out fast, I decided to create another date and make my Mom work for his stay. This is going to be fun and special for me, my mom is coming in April to visit us. The best way to make an Italian mamma happy is to put her in the kitchen and cook! This time me and my mom will be cooking together some of our favorite family dishes from our region of Puglia!

Chef Massimo Bruno and one of the best Sommeliers of Canada, Zoltan Szabo together with 3 Amici Imports are going to host a nice and intimate supper club (max 20 people) with wine pairings to highlight some of the best dishes and wines from Italy.
Well, this is a special one for sure. Few months ago I met Chantal Vechembre, she's an homecook/chef like me, born in Toulouse France, grew up in Paris to then come and move to Canada, in New Brunswick exactly. Chantal moved in Toronto this year, we met for a nice caffe' at my studio and soon I felt she was very genuinely interested in and passionate about food.
This supper club is another classic of my Fall season. I love to visit Umbria every 2 years since it's one of my family favourite place to visit in Italy, my wife loves the cultures and churches while I love the Prosciutto, Wild boar and Mushroom...still culture is it! Can't wait again to cook for this wonderful region, nestled between Tuscany, Marche and Emilia Romagna.
This is for sure one of the most favorite supper club, it's a great way to welcome the Fall celebrating one of the finest Italian region. This is where Mister Barolo and Barbaresco are from....enough said.
Of course the food has to attract the beautiful wine and I will try my best to cook for one of my Favorite as well.
