Massimo Bruno, Founder / Chef  

Massimo grew up in the Southern Italian region of Puglia, where he worked in restaurants and pizzerias for many years before immigrating to Canada in 2001. Over the years he tried every aspect of the business before discovering that cooking was his true passion. Since then he has dedicated himself to mastering the many styles of regional Italian food, and creating authentic, memorable experiences for his guests, both at studio in Toronto and on his culinary tours in Italy.

Vito Bruno, Sous Chef  / "Big" Brother 

Vito came to Toronto 4 years ago to join his younger brother and like Massimo has years of industry experience in Italy. He's an avid photographer whose keen eye and sensitivity have helped elevate the experience at the studio in many ways. Like many Southern Italians Vito is also very passionate - the pepper to Massimo's salt - but whether they're at each other's throats or the best of friends it always adds some extra spice to the flavours in our kitchen!

Mark is an experienced writer and industry consultant who has been working with us years. He's also the founder of the content and event company Cucinato and the author of the book Pizza Cultura.
